
Welcome to Lowewood Museum, the museum for the Borough of Broxbourne. Located in the market town of Hoddesdon, Lowewood Museum is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 4:30pm.
Entry to the museum and exhibitions is free. A tea room and shop is available during opening hours. The shop sells a number of publications produced by the Friends of Lowewood Museum as well as local history books.

The museum is run by the Lowewood Museum Trust CIO, a new charitable organisation set up in January 2021 to run the museum on behalf of Broxbourne Borough Council and the local community.

The current exhibition at Lowewood is Jubilations and Coronations, an exhibition to align with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. On Saturday 2nd July 2022, Lowewood Museum will celebrate its 40th birthday, There will be an exhibition showcasing some of the rarely seen treasures from the museum’s extensive collection. After that there will be an exhibition celebrating the history of the John Warner School. There will also be a small exhibition to mark the 400th anniversary of Rawdon House.
