We have taken the decision to close the museum on the day of the King’s Coronation to allow our volunteers and staff to take part in the celebrations.

We have a number of vacancies for Front of House volunteers and will be open for an opportunity to learn more about becoming a Lowewood Volunteer 11-3pm on Monday 8th May. This is part of the Kings “Big Help Out” and our collections volunteers will also be busy around the Museum on that day.

Our opening days will be as follows:

Monday 1st May- Museum closed as usual.

Friday 5th May – Open as usual.

Monday 8th May- Pop-in session to find out more about volunteering at Lowewood 11-3pm

Saturday 6th May- Closed for Coronation.
